Air.Auth is a password manager with a twist. Like regular password managers, it allows users to save their various site passwords (Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, etc...), and access them with a single master password. However, where Air.Auth differs is what it uses for this master password. By incorporating LeapMotion technology, Air.Auth allows users access to their sites without touching a keyboard. Instead, Air.Auth users need only their hands to bio-authenticate.
The bio-authentication is a two step procedure. First, a user performs a series of 4 hand poses (their PIN). Second, the user scans their hand by holding it flat and still for less than a second. Once these steps are complete a user is fully authenticated, and can launch any of their saved sites. Site launching is also pose-based, where a user is free to assign various poses to a site. From start to finish, the entire sequence requires no keyboard or mouse input, nor does it require a user to remember a password. With Air.Auth, your hand is your identity.
